Slowly strolling around what was left of the home of the Olympian Gods,Aphrodite made her way to wards the fountains. She was never really much of a loner, but these days with the recent death of the majority of her family,Mount Olympus was desolate....
It was odd that the thought of being up here alone didn't cause her to miss her "family".Aphrodite wasn't all that close to the others to begin with. They all thought her to be too caring for mortals and possibly expendable,Aside from her husband and possibly Ares, but without her love all the followers the others had would belong to Ares ..Or possibly be dead... Besides how close could she get to people who used her precious Gabrielle to kill someone who meant the world to her? Not close at all.
Sighing and crossing her arms over her chest ,Aphrodite shivered a little."This place is giving me the creeps..."She muttered to herself, taking a seat on the fountains edge.Glancing into the clear water The Goddess of Love quickly found herself starring...at well ...herself.But there seemed to be something different in her reflection. Mortals...They were beginning to rub off on her... Ew. Worried that she might be losing her touch,Aphrodite glanced at her reflection once more and smiled.
The Goddess of Love...Losing her touch!? Never!
Placing her hand over her chest she remembered the feeling of indescribable pain the second Xena struck her husband down...She wasn't angered by the fact Xena had killed him,Eve's birth clouded even her own judgment but she did miss him. Things weren't the same without him..Although his fate was brought on by his own stupidity. And where had Cupid run off to? That son of hers, as troublesome as he was, brought a smile to her face.

Athena walked through the halls, it had been to long. She was now back to herself. It had been to long since she'd been home. Everything seemed so life-less, plain and depressing. She remembered these halls, growing up. They were always full of her sibling throwing one another around. The strong survivded in this home. Athena was always one of the stronger females, she could always take out Ares, Hercules was a bit more challengeling though.
Athena smiled it almost brought tears to her eyes. Most of her family was dead. But her uncle was bringing back more and more. Soon the Olympian's would rule again. And since Xena had lost the power to kill gods, she didn't see anything that stopped them. Athena saw the fountains ahead of her. And a figure by them. Aphrodite. Her sister that betrayed them, Athena didn't have any hard feelings though. It was fine, Hades was bringing them back, thats all that mattered.
Athena walked beside her, "Hello Sister." Athena said stepping up beside her. She hadn't seen her sister in a very long time, it was almost a pleasure to see her. The two got along fine when they were young, but when the Twilight came, things changed.

"Hello Athena."Aphrodite said with an indifferent tone in her voice. The Goddess didn't need to look up from her own reflection to see and recognize the sound of Athena's voice. She expected little from the woman all her life, and now was not any different.Aphrodite was not intimidated anymore, nor was she ashamed of what she had done.Unlike her brothers and sister,The Goddess of Love had a heart, that cared for her mortals friends Xena and Gabrielle more then one could imagine. There was no way Aphrodite would stand by and let them die without interfering.Defying her very own father ,who didn't--and probably wouldn't-- confront her about her actions, Aphrodite had not intention of listening to what Athena might possibly have to say.
Examining the situation carefully she waited for a sign of disagreement to cue her exit. The environment had definite tension but it was nothing she hadn't dealt with before.Slowly dipping her fingers into the fountain,Aphrodite watched as the contact of her fingers upon the waters surface caused a rippling effect.

Athena had a small smile on her face, she knew Aphrodite didn't fear her, and she knew that Aphrodite would have done anything to save Xena and Gabrielle, and she did. Athena watched her sister carefully, she didn't want to be this way with her sister, only a small grudge was what she felt for her. "I understand," Athena spoke taking a step forward but stopping, "Your affection for those mortals." Athena stopped.
She felt as if she had just been stabbed in the heart. It still heart when she though about Ilainus. Xena had killed her, Athena would never forgive Xena for that. She blinked away the memory of holding her dead body in her arms. She wouldn't let that weaken her right now. "As you know, I had one too." Still her heart throbbed. She tried to shake it off. Athena didn't wnat her and her sister to hate one another. Athena stepped to the edge of the fountain, she sat on the edge.

Glancing up from the water ,she watched Athena briefly, unsure of what to think of her response. There was a small chance that she was being honest, and perhaps death did something to alter her personality ...but that was yet to be determined.Half smiling in response ,Aphrodite nodded. If Athena truly understood her affection for mortals she would not have acted in the manner that she did. That was in the past now,or so she tried to convince herself.Aphrodite still harbored negative feelings to wards her sister but she would attempt to get past them.No promises off course.
Pushing a strand of her hair out of her face, the goddess crossed her arms over her chest. The conversation was well on its way to some awkward silence ...
Aphrodite never could keep a conversation going with Athena,But there was always a first time for everything. "Enough of this depressing conversation.."Aphrodite said with more spunk in her voice."How did you get back..?"She finally asked.

Athena rolled her eyes and smirked. She didn't quite know how to answer Aphrodite. She only had half an idea. "I had a little help from Uncle Hades." Athena smiled. She didn't know how Hades had cheated death, but he had and brought back her and her father. She knew, Aphrodite was always the favorite in the eyes of her father, and she would never be able to win his approval. Even after Aphrodite had betrayed them. Perhaps she might one day, but that didn't interest her any more. The approval of her fellow gods was something that didn't worry her any more. But Hades, now he had always liked Athena. He knew she was a good warrior, and she had talent.
Athena glanced at her reflection in the water. She saw herself, not as the god she was before death, but as a women with a hurt ego. Maybe speaking to her sister was a mistake. It was just belittling herself. Going back to her sister and trying to make peace. Athena shook her head at her reflection, she had to make something happen. That would make her name alive once more.

"Oh...Figured He might have something to do with it...Can't keep ol' Uncle Hades Down for long..."Aphrodite said. Her heart skipped a beat..If her father,Sister and Uncle had come back....Perhaps there was a good chance ...But there no point in raising her hopes up to have them destroyed.Frowning internally,Aphrodite was grateful to have her "family" back..But something was still troubling her.An Ominous feeling was still hovering over head. Not a common characteristic for the Goddess of Love. These mortals of hers REALLY were beginning to grow on her."Well....I suppose the Underworld would of been chaos without Hades...After all he is the only reason those lost souls stay in their place..." Aphrodite added, shifting her weight around to cross one leg over the over. She was running out of intersting things to talk about and quick.Allowing her gaze to fall on the chamber floor once more,Aphrodite yawned a little.
